U-series geochronology using the -spectrometry method co-operated with 14C dating results

摘要
The U-238, U-235 and Th-232 series radionuclides and K-40 content of Late Pleistocene fossilizing bones have been measured using -spectrometry. The U-series dating results are variated from 21 +/- 3 up to 31 +/- 4kya based on the U-238-method depending to the leaching constant taken into account. These results are in agreement compared to the age 23.8 +/- 0.1kya given by the C-14-method on the bone collagen. The radiocarbon age demonstrates a U-238-leaching constant 1.81 +/- 0.13x10(-4)ky(-1) for the recent Quaternary fossilizing bones studied.
