摘要
In this study, the crystallographic texture of hydrostatically extruded AZ31 alloy is investigated using neutron diffraction method. Along the whole extruded profile 9 samples were collected with a volume of 1 cm(3) for cubic shaped and 1.5 cm in diameter for cylindrical shaped samples, including the non-deformed part. The main texture component is a < 10.0 > fibre parallel to the extrusion direction as a result of the uniaxial deformation and the recrystallization during extrusion. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V.
