PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION'S MODELS IN THE MANAGEMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION'S ORGANIZACIONS

This article deals with the main concepts and peculiarities of patrimonialist, bureaucratic and managerial public administration models and investigates the applicability of the three models amongst managers and members of higher councils of public organizacions of higher education in the city of Mossoro - RN. The study was based on the hypothesis that in the field of research addressed there would be the coexistence of particularities of those three models. For this purpose, a descriptive research was developed, with data collection through a bibliographic research on the three models of public administration, and through a field research, with application of questionnaires to the manager and advisers of the three organizations studied: UFERSA, UERN and the IFRN - Mossoro Campus. In the discussion of the results, it was possible to conclude that there is the coexistence of the three models in the management of the organizations.
