Temperature dependence of supercurrent distribution in YBCO thin film strips observed by terahertz radiation imaging

We study vortex penetration into YBCO thin films by terahertz radiation imaging. The supercurrent distributions and corresponding magnetic field ones in the thin film strips with and without the ordered array of small antidots are quantitatively evaluated in a remanent state and their temperature dependence is discussed. The results indicate that the distributions and their temperature dependence in the strips with the antidots remarkably differ from those without the antidots. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V.
