Evaluation of rootstocks of different mandarins (Citrus reticulata) under foot-hills conditions of Arunachal Pradesh

摘要：
An experiment was conducted during 1999-2600 to study comparative performance of rootstocks for different mandarins (Citrus reticulata Blanco), viz Khasi mandarin, Nagpur mandarin, Sikkim mandarin and Darjeeling mandarin. Success (37.91%) and survival (91.96%) were found to be highest in Volkamer lemon (Citrus volkameriana Ten. & Pasq.), however, scion length (26.08 cm) and scion thickness (5.33 mm) were recorded maximum in karna khatta (Citrus karna Rafin) and tayum sile (Citrus medica L.) respectively. Among the mandarins, Darjeeling mandarin had highest success (38.33%), whereas survival (final success) was found highest in Nagpur mandarin, Sikkim mandarin had highest scion length (20.26 cm) and diameter (5.41 mm).
