摘要
In order to improve the precision of the evaluation on life of crane beam, the probability statistics are introduced in evaluation. The principle of Probabilistic Fracture Mechanics (PFM) is introduced, and the calculation process of PFM is discussed. The corresponding formula that is derived from this is the relationship between life and reliability, which is given. Meanwhile, the fatigue life of the in-service crane beam is evaluated using PFM. The residual fatigue life of the crane beam under the alternating load is thus obtained.
