The production of medicines has a long tradition in Thuringia, It is therefore not surprising that GEHE Medica Produktionsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG chose to build its ultramodern production plant for pharmaceutical products in this German state. The construction of a new factory is always a good chance to introduce modern material flow systems for improving operational logistics, The following example shows how such an opportunity was put into practice with great success.
