摘要
The effect of ageing on the microstructure and mechanical properties of five-layered tetragonal Ni(53)Mn(23.5)Ga(18.5)Ti(5) alloy has been studied. The results show that ageing increases the amount and decreases the size of Ni(3)Ti precipitates. In addition, the compressive strength of alloys is clearly enhanced and compressive strain is slightly decreased by ageing, which can be attributed to the strengthening of the Ni(3)Ti precipitates and dislocation.
