摘要
Rapidly solidified alloys based on aluminium and transition metals are known for good mechanical properties and excellent thermal stability. Alloying these materials by rare earth elements e. g. cerium, leads to further increase of thermal stability. The aim of this work is to compare the influence of Fe and Cr ratio on mechanical properties and thermal stability of Al-Cr-Fe-Ce alloy. The aluminium-based alloys with 0.8 wt.% Ce and 6 wt.% transition metals with different content of Fe and Cr were investigated in this paper.. The structure of these alloys was observed by light and transmission electron microscopy. Phase composition of alloys was analysed by x-ray diffraction and by high-energetic X-Ray diffraction.
