Simulation of Correlated 3-D Sea Clutter Based on Statistical Model on the Zynq Platform

摘要
Sea clutter is a key factor that effects radar to detect sea-surface targets. Modeling of the clutter accurately is a prerequisite for optimizing the performance of radar. A real-time space-time correlation sea clutter generation system using hardware acceleration for highly efficient signal processing is presented. The memoryless nonlinear transform (MNLT) algorithm is used for this purpose as it combines efficiency by using the Inverse Fast Fourier Transform (IFFT). The signal processing is implemented on a Xilinx Zynq-7100 System on a Chip (SoC). The simulation results show that this system can simulate 3-D space-time related sea clutter and achieve good results.
