Estimation of fatigue level by rotational Barkhausen noise

摘要
We have measured the Barkhausen noise (BHN) of Inconel-600 sheet material in a rotating magnetic field. We have found that the limit stress amplitude of each life fraction can be estimated using the power of the BHN. The limit stress amplitude is the minimum bending cyclic stress of each life fraction, In this paper we present a new method for the estimation of fatigue which utilizes the change of BHN in a rotating magnetic field.
