Copper and manganese complexes based on bis(tetrazole) ligands bearing flexible spacers: Syntheses, crystal structures, and magnetic properties

摘要
Five new Cu(II)/Mn(II) complexes Cu-2(HL1)(2)(H2O)(2) (1), [Mn-2(HL1)(2)(H2O)(4)]2H(2)O (2), {[Cu-5(HL2)(2)(SO4)(2)(OH)(2)(H2O)(2)]5H(2)O}(n) (3), [Cu(HL2)](n) (4), Cu-3(L-3)(2)(OH)(2)(H2O)(2) (5) based on three flexible ligands [bis-(1H-tetrazol-5-ylmethyl)-amine (H3L1), bis-(1H-tetrazol-5-ylethyl)-amine (H3L2) and 1,5-bis(5-tetrazolo)-3-thiapentane (H2L3)] have been synthesized and structurally characterized, which are in the wide range of 0-D to infinite 2-D network. The dinuclear complexes 1 and 2 can be further assembled into 3-D supramolecular frameworks via hydrogen-bonding interactions, respectively, resulting in a topological pcu and bcu-x net with the Schlafli symbol {4(12)6(3)} and {3(36)4(48)5(7)}. Complexes 3 and 4 feature an infinite 1-D chain and 2-D network, respectively. Both the 2-D framework of 4 and 2-D supramolecular network of 5 can be simplified into a four-connected {4(4)6(2)} topological sql network. In addition, the magnetism studies indicate antiferromagnetically coupled systems exist in 1-5. (C) 2016 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
