摘要
Objective: This study aimed to investigate the effect of targeted psychological care on treatment compliance in patients with traumatic tympanic membrane perforation. Methods: 84 patients with traumatic tympanic membrane perforation attended to our hospital from January 2018 to December 2020 were selected and divided into control and observation groups according to the random number table method, with 42 cases in each group. The control group received conventional care, while the observation group received targeted psychological care on the basis of the control group. The two groups of patients with traumatic tympanic membrane perforation were compared in terms of psychological status, treatment compliance, clinical efficacy, pure tone audiometry, healing time of tympanic membrane perforation, and quality of life. Results: After the care in both groups, the anxiety and depression scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). In terms of treatment compliance, the compliance rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Concerning clinical efficacy, the total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Pure tone audiometry values were significantly lower in both groups after the care (P<0.05), while pure tone audiometry values were lower in the observation group than in the control group after the care (P<0.05). Postoperative follow-up revealed that the healing time of tympanic membrane perforation was shorter in the observation group than in the control group (P<0.05); also, the life quality scores were higher in the observation group than in the control group (P<0.05), all with statistically significant differences. Conclusion: Applying targeted psychological care in patients with traumatic tympanic membrane perforation can effectively improve the psychological condition, increase treatment compliance, enhance clinical efficacy, promote hearing improvement, shorten the healing time, and improve quality of life in patients.
