Apuleius rhetoric work in XVI century Spain

Some quotations from two rhetorical works of the Roman writer Apuleius (Apologia and Florida) are studied to establish the influence of both books in the Spanish culture of the sixteenth century. Two general conclusions can be drawn: these works were mostly known through volumes of miscellanies and they were widely considered and appreciated as classical works.
