摘要：
A new genus and species of Chilocorini (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) from New Guinea, Sicardiana aureomarginata is described and illustrated based on adults. Characters concerning similarities to other Chilocorini genera are discussed. Key to New Guinean genera of Chilocorini and a checklist to the known species of the tribe from New Guinea are provided.
