摘要
A skeleton from the tenth century, with numerous head injuries was investigated by anthropologists and forensic pathologists. The well-preserved bones belonged to a man aged about 30-40 years and a height between 170 and 180 cm. The fatal blunt and sharp head injuries were received close to the time of death. Through an interdisciplinary collaboration between forensic medicine and anthropology the possible sequence of events and the kind of weapon could be largely reconstructed.
