摘要：

It is well known that Computer-Based Education can be mainly divided into two parts: CAI (Computer-assisted Instruction) and CMI(Computer- Managed Instruction). In this paper,in view of educational system engineering and managing science, we put stress on discussing some questions about CAT from five aspects: firstly,we review the development of educational theories and technologies and give our analysis. This is the basis of our conclusion that it is necessary for computer to be used in education and a new education reform----CBE will appear. Secondly, we discuss what we should do in order to make the computer serve education perfectly in this reform. That is to say, the main concern is what questions we should take into account get our goals and what we should do. The third part should be the advantages and disadvantages of CBE. Fourthly, we discuss the use of such advanced technologies in aducation as AI, agent, VR, multi-media,super-media, networks, and so on. Lastly we list our reference documents. The object of this article is to propose what question we should think in CAT, and give our advice as well as a detailed CAI model.
