Dinuclear Manganese(III) Complex with a Schiff-base Having a Di-μ-acetato-μ-alkoxido-bridged Core

摘要
The di-mu-acetato-mu-alkoxido-bridged dinuclear manganese(III) complex with 1,3-bis(3-methoxysalicylideneamino)-2-propanol (H(3)msap), [Mn-2(msap)(mu-CH3COO)(2)(CH3COO)(CH3OH)], was synthesized. The crystal structure was determined by the single-crystal X-ray diffraction method at 90 K. The complex crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with a = 10.4020(8), b = 22.6864(17), c = 12.1807(10)angstrom, beta = 92.0340(10)degrees, V = 2872.6(4)angstrom(3), D-calcd = 1.559 g/cm(3), Z = 4. The R1 [I > 2 sigma(I)] and wR2 (all data) values are 0.0495 and 0.1218, respectively, for all 6587 independent reflections. The two manganese(III) ions are bridged by alkoxido-oxygen of msap(2-) and two mu-acetato with a hydrogen bonding between monodentate acetato and methanol molecules.
