摘要
A magnesium aluminate spinel powder (72 % Al2O3 & 28 % MgO) was prepared with mechanical activation. Samples were sintered in a temperature range of 1400-1750 degrees C. The final sintered products were characterized with densification, phase and microstructural analyses and a hardness measurement to evaluate the influence of mechanical activation on the synthesis of a magnesium aluminate spinel.
