Efficient Raman amplification of low divergent radiation in barium nitrate crystal

摘要
One stage first Stokes amplification by a factor of 1600 was demonstrated in a barium nitrate Raman amplifier. The amplified pulse energy was up to 63 mJ at pump energy of 208 mJ. M-2 factor of Stokes signal radiation was 1.5 while for amplified radiation 2.2.
