摘要：
An attempt has been made to review various theoretical and practical aspects of the kinetics of solid state reactions. A very wide range of models developed so far for the study of the kinetics of such reactions by both isothermal and non-isothermal methods have been documented and their applicability has been critically examined. Though hundreds of literatures are available on this subject, only very relevant ones have been cited to avoid lengthy bibliography.
