摘要
This study simulates an innovative car park bidding system on blockchains to solve the parking problem in cities. We proposed a real-time bidding mechanism that uses different criteria, such as parking price, conditions, locations, and the urgency of parking, to allow drivers to find the best solutions for their parking needs. The simulation results provide the variables based on: 1) the qualifying conditions for a car to access a parking space; 2) the number of vehicles that can access the bidding system, and 3) the waiting time of drivers. According to the analysis of the results, we have provided the proof of concepts (PoC) for a parking solution based on the integration blockchain technologies, the internet of vehicles (IoV), and sharing economy. Future studies will focus on using service design methodology to analyze the detail service mechanism and the implementation of a prototype system.
