摘要
This paper presents a review of the method of superposition developed by Gorman, or the Gorman method, in vibration analysis of plates and shells. Exploitation of the Gorman method for accurate establishment of eigenvalues and mode shapes in free vibration analysis of rectangular plates with various edge conditions is described in considerable detail.
