摘要
DSC is used to determine the heat capacity of compound Bi12.5Ho1.5CoO22.3 in the 180-500 K range of temperatures. It is shown there are no phase transitions in this range. Standard enthalpy of formation Bi12.5Ho1.5COO22.3 is determined via dissolution calorimetry, based on the enthalpies of dissolution of Bi2O3 measured in 1 M hydrochloric acid, Bi12.5Ho1.5CoO22.3, and literature data: (Delta H-f(0)(Bi12.5Ho1.5COO22.3) = -5269.8 +/- 18.2 kJ/mol). The lattice enthalpy is calculated using the Born-Haber cycle: Delta H-lat(0)(Bi12.5Ho1.5CoO22.3) = -99 080 kJ/mol.
