Samples of zirconium-doped titania ceramic fabrics were prepared by the wet impregnation method from organic fabrics precursors, and annealed at 700 degrees C. XRD showed that Titania crystal size ranging from 15 to 25nm and mainly phase is anatase phase, SEM showed that fibre diameter ranged from 3 to 5 mu m. Results obtained revealed that Zr-doped Titania fabrics showed satisfied mechanics performance, and the presence of Zr-ions in the titania structure caused double semiconductors effect. The photodegradation efficiency matched the maximum light absorption efficiency.
