摘要
It was established in the study that interaction of polymer and inorganic filler with the formation of PbF- proceeds during heating and heat treatment in air of fluoroplastic preforms filled with dispersed lead powders. Fluoroplastic samples were made by pressing from a blend of polymer and filler followed by heat treatment. The studies were carried out by X-ray phase analysis, dispersed lead powders were produced from lead oxide in a dissociated ammonia medium. When dispersed lead powders are prepared from lead oxide in a chemically active medium, a product that has pyrophoric properties is formed, which at heating and in the presence of an oxidizing environment is capable of spontaneous combustion in the polymer matrix. In air, the pellets of metallic lead are covered with an oxide film, i.e., they represent a two-phase system. In connection with this fact, it was suggested that lead oxide can act as an initiator of the fluoroplast destruction during heating.
