摘要
This paper is related to the study of the air arc in low voltage apparatus. The arc between electrodes carries out the current limitation due to increase in arc voltage. A splitter plate was using for the low voltage circuit breakers to increase the arc voltage. This paper conducted research using two arc runners and some splitter plates that simplify model of low voltage circuit breakers. The magneto-hydrodynamics model for air arc simulation includes interaction simulation of fluid dynamic and electro-magnetic. The arc motion and the arc splitting process were conducted simulation in paper.
