摘要
In this paper, we analyze the literary production of three Brazilian female authors who write for children and who assumed the task of transforming that writing in order of adjusting it to contemporary discourse: Marina Colasanti, Ana Maria Machado, and Ruth Rocha. The texts that used to distinguish, in a clear way, differences between men and women have been being deconstructed in due time opening space to a fairer approach related to women's role in society and its consequent valorization. The themes presented in the short-stories selected in this study are mainly feminism, race issued and politics from discussions including fantastic narrative until social engagement which transforms and enriches the discourse directed to the children's audience. By analyzing the three stories of these female authors, one can observe how much children's literature has had its share in that needed deconstruction of literary interventions.
