Vibrational and impedance spectroscopic studies on lithium vanadate prepared by solid-state reaction

摘要
The lithium vanadate (LiV2O5) has been prepared by solid-state reaction method. The Laser Raman and FTIR spectroscopic analysis have been carried which reveal the presence of multiphase lithium vanadium oxides. The delta-phase of LiV2O5 has been detected by the presence of Raman peaks at 960 and 942 cm(-1). The epsilon- and gamma-phases of lithium vanadate have been confirmed by the 975-, 862- and 835-cm(-1) peaks. The IR peak at 957 arising from V=O stretching vibrations shows the presence of multiple vanadium ions such as (V4+, V5+). The impedance analysis indicates the presence of bulk resistance and non-Debye nature of the material. (C) 2003 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
