摘要
In recent years, single-molecule detection has evolved from focusing on detecting a single molecule to examining molecular interactions in various systems. This review discusses the recent progress of single-molecule-fluorescence detection with respect to biomolecular interactions. We describe single-molecule-detection instrumentation along with several of the important tools that are used (e.g., anisotropy and resonance-energy transfer). We also review recent applications of single-molecule detection to various types of biomolecular interactions. (c) 2007 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
