摘要
In the present article, two different ways of approaching the criticism of anthropocentrism and its link with the COVID-19 pandemic will be analyzed: one of moral order, focused on animal and environmental ethics, and another more generalthat could be called 'historiographical-disciplinary', which proposes a comprehensive review of the anthropocentric assumptions that could be carried by the various philosophical subdisciplines. Although the first approach has become a solid way of research in recent decades, the research linked to the second is still scarce. As will be argued, in light of the zoonosis causing the pandemic that is still in force and, in turn, of some disciplinary rethinking in the field of health sciences that became particularly relevant after the emergence of SARS-CoV-2, it is possible to argue that today the second approach can be thought of as a path of fundamental relevance for current philosophy.
