摘要
The paper investigates the effects of the aging of an initial aluminophosphate gel on the formation of intermediate phases and their subsequent crystallization into an AlPO4-11 molecular sieve. It was demonstrated that intermediate aluminophosphates can be deliberately formed either as amorphous or layered phases by varying, from 20 to 140 degrees C, the holding temperature of the aluminophosphate gel with the following composition: 1.0Al(2)O(3)center dot 1.0P(2)O(5)center dot 1.0DPA center dot 50H(2)O. The choice of the intermediate aluminophosphate was shown to be a factor of control over the AlPO4-11 morphology and over the characteristics of the secondary porous structure. The paper further suggests the mechanism of AlPO4-11 formation depending on the intermediate phase nature.
