Facility management is a profession that encompasses multiple disciplines to ensure functionality of the built environment by integrating people, place, process and technology. The main purpose of facility management is to create optimal conditions for a user to perform the principal subject of their business. Support activities are basically all the other activities except the main functional process, but which create conditions to run the principal process successfully. The form of providing the support processes can be carried out through outsourcing, insourcing, or combining both.
