摘要：

History constantly reminds us of the difficult relationship between science and politics. There are many reasons behind this and they come from both sides. And yet history and politics are bound to work together, for politics needs advice from scientists to legitimate decision-making and the development of science depends on politicians' decisions and scientific knowledge. Therefore, it seems necessary to establish a more direct connexion between them, which can be facilitated by the fact that they are both complex systems with common characteristics.
