摘要
We investigate a programmable nano-device via classical molecular dynamics simulations. The nanocluster encapsulated in a carbon nanotube (CNT) resonator approached the center of its wavelength at the position where the exerted acceleration force was highest, so the positions of the nancluster inside the CNT resonator depended on the order of the resonance frequency, i.e., on whether it was the fundamental or the second-order frequency. These properties suggest that a CNT resonator encapsulating a nanocluster has a potential application as a programmable multiple-position device controlled by the order of the applied resonance frequency.
