On the integral frequency-domain/time-domain relationship of MTIE (τ, β)

摘要
The range spanned by a clock time error is a random quantity that can be statistically characterised. The paper considers the case of clock affected by white phase noise and the range probability laws are inferred. From the probability distribution, the percentile Maximum Time Interval Error, MTIE(tau, beta), can be estimated and the relationship between frequency domain and time domain are discussed.
