Enhanced ionic conductivity of ionic liquid confined in UiO-67 membrane at low humidity

摘要
In this study, a novel conducting MOFs/polymer hybrids were synthesis successfully. [BMIM]BF4 ionic liquid was first incorporated into UiO-67 and then the composite membranes were prepared by incorporating [BMIM] BF4@UiO-67 within polyacrylonitrile (PAN) matrix. The [BMIM]BF4@UiO-67/PAN membrane shows enhanced ionic conductivity (2.53 x 10(-4) Scm(-1) at 90 degrees C when the [BMIM]BF4@UiO-67 content is 60 wt %) under low humidity condition (35% relative humidity), thus making them potentially useful for electrochemical devices.
