The effects of different irrigation methods on the yield, quality and water use efficiency of mature Thomson seedless were studied to achieve a high quality and efficiency water-saving irrigation measures in Turpan region vineyards and investigate the effect of different irrigation methods and irrigation amount on grape yield, quality and water use efficiency in arid gravel and sandy soil. The results showed that in the same irrigation conditions, with the increase of irrigation amount, the grape yield and fruit grain weight increased whereas the soluble solid of grape decreased. In the same irrigation amount, the best irrigation methods was the three-drip irrigation without cover material arrangement which have the best result on the yield, fruit grain weight and the water use efficiency. In the arid, gravel and sandy soil, the three-drip irrigation method could save water and increase the quality of the grape though it has disadvantageous effect on the yield, fruit grain weight compared with traditional irrigation method.
