摘要
In summary, the instillation of 2000 mL of PD fluid in our patient with end-stage renal disease resulted in an appearance mimicking that of ascites on 2-day Tc-99m tetrofosmin gated SPECT. Because of the normal size of his liver and given that there was no evidence of splenic enlargement, the ascites might have been attributed to a cause other than portal hypertension. In reviewing the raw-data images obtained during Tc-99m tetrofosmin cardiac-gated SPECT, one should be aware that PD fluid in the abdomen can mimic ascites.
