EFFECT OF FOLIAR APPLICATION OF SALICYLIC ACID AND LIQUORICE EXTRACT ON SOME ACTIVE COMPONENTS OF LEAVES IN SENNA SURATTENSIS L.

摘要
The experiment was conducted in the College of Agriculture, University of Basrah, Iraq during the agricultural season 2020-2021, which was shading of 40%. Senna surattensis L. seedlings were transplanted in plastic pots of 30x30 cm and 10 kg, which contained a soil and peat moss at a ratio of 1:3. The results showed that the leaves of the seedlings treated with the control treatment recorded a high relative content of the hydrocarbon compound (Dodecane). The treatments were treated with licorice extract only at a concentration of 2.5 g L-1 led to the formation of steroids, namely Lup-20(29)-en-3-one, Lupeol, Stigmast-5-en-3-ol, oleate and gamma-Sitosterol compared to the other combinations of salicylic acid and licorice extract. The treatments, which sprayed with the control treatment achieved the highest relative content of alkaloid, 3-[3-Chlorophenyl]-6-chloro-2(H)-quinolinone. Leaves of seedlings sprayed with salicylic acid only at a concentration of 100 mg L-1 recorded the highest relative content of phenol, Benzene, Curcumin and volatile oils alpha-Farnesene, 1,3-Cyclohexadiene, Zingiberene and Sesquiphellandrene.
