摘要
To date, the aquaculture industry in the Philippines is coping through the utilization of innovative technological solutions to attain sustainability in aquaculture practices, such as the use of a mobile application for fish classification. However, no existing study is available that investigates the acceptance of utilizing mobile application for fish classification. This study employs the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology through a survey conducted with different users in the Philippines. The results show that facilitating condition has a positive influence on behavioral intention to use the mobile application. Age, gender, and user type have moderating effects. Also, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence positively affect behavioral intention to use the mobile application. This study presents theoretical and practical implications with research limitations.
