摘要
This paper presents one dimensional compression behaviour of the assembly containing cylindrical crushable gravels modeled by DEM. The DEM gravels were represented as the agglomerate of spherical elements as forming cylindrical shape. A degraded bonding was introduced in order to provide the variability of stiffness and strength. The assemblies of DEM cylindrical gravels were applied to one dimensional compression. The compression behaviour was discussed on three effects such as cylindrical geometry, sedimentation condition and gravels contents over stress level with crushing.
