摘要：

The study of Spanish artists from the theatre and film industry has not featured in historical literature. This article examines four Spanish actresses in the first third of the 20th century as seen in the graphic press. The purpose is to understand the world of shows and spectacles as well as to provide an interpretation of the phenomenon of the celebrity at the time. These four protagonists serve as transversal subjects that help explain this general phenomenon.
