摘要
Entropy is an effective method of uncertainty measurement in information systems, but there are few researches on the uncertainty of triangular intuitionistic fuzzy information systems. This paper focuses on the entropy of intuitionistic triangular fuzzy sets (ITFSs) and its main contributions are as follows. Firstly, we generalize the axiomatic definition of traditional fuzzy entropy and put forward the distance-based entropy concept for ITFSs. Using the distance measures of ITFSs, some formulas for calculating entropy of ITFSs are listed. Then, the distance-based conversion relationships between the entropy and similarity in ITFSs environment are investigated. Finally, some examples on the basis of structuring linguistic variables are given to verify that the entropy measures based on distance measures are more reasonable than that based on hesitation degree of ITFSs.
