E-expert: Web-based integrated emergency expert system for management and control of shipping accidents in Yangtze River

摘要
This paper discusses the problem of shipping accidents in marine transportation in Yangtze River, Jiangsu Province, China, and describes E-expert, a web based integrated real-time emergency expert system for management and control of shipping accidents. Due to inefficacy of management and control of shipping accidents in Yangzi.River, contaminations from broken ships, have caused long-playing and far-reaching harm to citizens and environments in that drainage area, an integrated computerized system. is advanced to prevent and handle emergency accidents. E-expert, functionally a hybrid of real-time management information system and decision support system, is used to offer scientific decisions and plans for shipping accidents. The primary focus of this paper will be selective descriptions of problem analysis of shipping accidents, system framework of E-expert and rules of Bayesian decision-making analysis of inference engine. Operating results show the E-expert has well modeled the real situation of shipping accidents, and effectively assists relevant personnel to make just decisions and plans.
