摘要：
A new species of curculionid beetle of the genus Metro Jacquelin du Val 1852, M mellei n. sp., is described from Tanargue mountains (Ardeche, France). It is closely related to M straneoi F. Solari 1954 from which it differs in the shape of the aedeagus. Relevant external characters as well as the male and female genitalia are illustrated.
