摘要
A review of the more relevant laboratory test results concerning the thermo-hydro-mechanical (THM) behavior of the Gaomiaozi(GMZ) bentonite is presented. Most of the THM features of compacted bentonite have been experimentally studied during the GMZ project. Relationship between thermal conductivity lambda [W/(m . K)] and water content W(%) was described in equations which were established through statistical method. Relationship between hydraulic conductivity K(m/s) and temperature t(degrees C) has been listed in equations which were established through statistical method. At last, a new model (hydro-swelling model) describing the swelling and permeability character of GMZ bentonite was established.
