The immobilized concanavalin A on aminosilane-hydrogel surface interacted specifically with a newly synthesized oligosaccharide-branched cyclodextrin, alpha-glucosyl-glucono-amide-beta-CD(1) in the association constant, K-a of 8730 M(-1), using an optical biosensor on the principle of surface plasmon resonance.
