摘要
We describe observations of aromatic features at 7.7 and 11.3 mu m in AGNs of three types including PG, 2MASS and 3CR objects. The features have been demonstrated to originate predominantly from star formation. The star-forming infrared luminosity function of PG quasars is flatter than that of field galaxies, implying nuclear activity and star formation tend to be enhanced together. A high detection rate of aromatic features in a complete z similar to 1 quasar sample implies a stronger evolution of star formation in quasar hosts than that in field galaxies.
