摘要
Web logs, as a computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL) tool, bear the features of being authentic, interactive, self-regulated and reflective, and are emerging in educational settings due to their great potential use in building collaborative learning environments. Group weblog, with its virtues in facilitating collaboration and authentic language use for communication opens opportunities for task-based language learning. With coordinated efforts for completing tasks, individual learners have to interact and collaborate with peer learners in the target language, which will lead to improvements both in language competency and communication competency. The goal of this study is to explore how group weblogs can be employed for building collaboration and interaction in a task-based English learning environment
